海角视频 awards scholarships based on academic merit and resonance with our mission, and third-party scholarships provide another way to fund your education. Scholarships never need to be repaid.
Most of the scholarships below are open to domestic students, freshmen and transfers, from any educational background. There are a few that are specifically for homeschooled students, which are labeled accordingly.
Some of these scholarships are also open to international students, and these are marked with an asterisk (*). See the bottom of the page for additional scholarships intended specifically for international students, military members, and veterans.
Students are considered domestic if they are U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens (i.e. a legal permanent resident 鈥済reen card鈥� holder). We follow the same that the U.S. Department of Education uses to define who can apply for federal student aid.
Institutional Scholarships
The King’s College in New York City offers generous merit-based awards that are renewable each year. We believe in awarding you based on where you excel the most academically, whether that be in the classroom earning an impressive GPA or performing well on a standardized test. Our merit based scholarships are awarded on an “either/or” structure, so you do not need to meet all four categories to earn the scholarship. Once you complete an application, we will evaluate your credentials, and where you excelled the most will determine your scholarship.
海角视频 is awarding up to three scholarships amounting up to the full cost of tuition to students who embody the combination of leadership and academic skills that the College highly values. The Founders Scholarship is awarded through a competitive process that includes an essay and presentation components.
Founders Details海角视频 is offering up to two $6,000-per-year McCandlish Phillips Journalism Scholarships to incoming freshmen or transfers majoring in Journalism, Culture and Society.
To be eligible, students must:
- Be accepted for admission to 海角视频 for the coming fall
- Be enrolling full-time in the Journalism, Culture and Society major
- Be graduating high school this academic year or be a transfer student
Scholarship recipients must:
- Maintain a 3.0 GPA
- Contribute to the Empire State Tribune and / or ESTv each semester
- Remain enrolled in the Journalism, Culture and Society major

海角视频 exists to educate students who will shape and eventually lead the great institutions of the world through careers in government, business, law, media, education, civil society, the arts and the church. Every student at King鈥檚 is presented with the challenge to do something great with their lives, and the King鈥檚 Leadership Scholarship helps identify those likely to accept that challenge.
The聽Leadership Scholarship is a four-year renewable award that may be combined with other forms of institutional aid. To be considered for this award, all candidates must be admitted聽to The King’s College and submit an essay on the prompt below. These awards are made possible by the generous gifts of alumni and friends from around the world.聽 Please note, the Leadership Scholarship is subject to The King’s College academic scholarship聽cap.

The mission of 海角视频 is to transform society through principled leadership. Each of the聽ten current namesakes in the King’s House system聽offered notable contributions to society and embodied worthy character qualities. Choose a leader from history as your recommendation for the next namesake for the 11th house, research his or her life, and demonstrate how this person embodies聽the mission and ideals聽of 海角视频.
海角视频 offers a renewable $500 scholarship to siblings and children of alumni or siblings and children of current students.
Students scoring 85 or above on the Classic Learning Test (CLT) will receive the Presidential Scholarship.
Classical Conversations supports homeschooling parents by cultivating the love of learning through a Christian worldview in fellowship with other families. They believe there are three keys to a great education: Classical, Christian, and Community. After completing the Challenge III curriculum and being admitted at 海角视频, students will receive the Presidential Scholarship.
海角视频 congratulates NCFCA students on their successes at the most recent NCFCA National Championship by offering a speech and debate finalist scholarship for enrollment at King鈥檚. Finalists are eligible to receive this scholarship each year for up to four years at King鈥檚.
To secure this scholarship, applicants who have already been finalists in a previous National Championship must inform their admissions counselor by email before January 15 of the year they intend to enroll. This ensures that the scholarship is calculated in their official award letters. If students go on to qualify to the final round at Nationals the summer before they begin at King鈥檚, they must email their admissions counselor no later than July 15 for the scholarship to be applied to their Fall balance.
Current Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) members who have a cumulative GPA of a 3.5 or higher qualify for a Presidential Scholarship.
TeenPact鈥檚 mission is to 鈥渋nspire youth in their relationship with Christ and train them to understand the political process, value their liberty, defend the Christian faith, and engage the culture around them.鈥� Likewise, with a core curriculum in Politics, Philosophy, and Economics, 海角视频 seeks to prepare students for Christian leadership in society鈥檚 institutions. 海角视频 is offering a renewable $1,000 scholarship for up to four years to incoming students who鈥檝e attended TeenPact鈥檚 Four Day State Class. To be eligible, students must apply and be admitted to 海角视频 and show proof that they have attended a Four Day State Class.
Impact 360 Institute鈥檚 Gap Year is an academic gap year experience with the mission of equipping members of future generations to become Christ-centered servant leaders. Students who complete the one-year program will be guaranteed the Presidential scholarship. Note: this scholarship is for students entering King鈥檚 directly after completing Impact 360 and cannot be deferred to future semesters.
Outside Scholarships
While there are many ways to find outside scholarships, here are a few ways that have been successful for our students:
- Ask your high school guidance counselor. Scholarships come across their desk all the time, and they鈥檙e usually more than happy to help out.
- Check with your parent鈥檚 employers about tuition matching programs or scholarships they might have.
- Check with any service clubs (Key Club, Rotary Club, DAR, etc.) that you, your parents, or grandparents belong to. Also, check with your church about any scholarships or grants they may have. If you receive a scholarship from your church, King鈥檚 may be able to match it. See details above at 鈥淐hurch Matching Scholarship.鈥�
- Talk to local businesses, particularly small businesses your family frequents.
- Make use of scholarship search engines. Here are some of the more popular ones:
Financial assistance is available to veterans and their families through the Montgomery GI Bill庐 , Post 9/11 GI Bill庐 , and other programs. 海角视频 also participates in The Yellow Ribbon Program and has a partnership with Fordham University Army ROTC as part of the New York City Army ROTC program.
